  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I reside personally in the Vicarage House – Have no Curate – neither is there any Lecturer.

  2. Other benefices: But this one Benefice.

  3. Divine service at other churches: I perform Divine Service, at no Church besides my own.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Twice on the Lord's Day, with a Sermon, in the morning.

  5. Frequency of communion: 8 Times in the year, viz, Twice at Easter, Whitsontide, Michaelmas, & Xtmas, & about 30 Communicants, at each Time.

  6. Catechising of children: On Sundays, in the afternoon, between Whitsuntide & Michaelmas.

  7. Church fabric: Both in pretty good Repair, the Ch: yard well kept, & things decent for Divine Service.

  8. Glebe terrier: I have no Terrier but Suppose there is one lodg'd in the Register's office, by the late Vicar (as there has been no Call for one Since my Residence here) if not, there Shall be one provided accordingly.

  9. Number of families: About 150.

  10. Chapels: No Chapel, within our Parish.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: No reputed Papists, or Dissenters Meeting House.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: No other School, but to teach Children to Read & Write. There is a building, in the Churchyard, where the Poor are kept Calld Church House, & a Groat a year paid to Vicar, & Ld of the Fee, by way of Chief or High Rent. There is another old House, where the Bishop of Devon livd, about 900 years ago now in Possession of B[ourchie]r Wrey. No Parochial Library.

  13. Charity: There are some Benefactions left to the Poor, the use whereof to be distributed yearly amongst them – an account of which is inscribed, on a Table, in the Church – enter'd into the Parish-Register, & duly applied.

    Priest's orders and institution: The Date of my Institution to this Vicarage is May 4th 1769
    and of my Priests' Orders... Septr 21st 1740.
